Trip to Washington

This weekend, we took a short trip up to West Richland, Washington to visit Robert's parents, who recently moved there. It's about a 5-hour drive, mostly through Oregon and the Blue Mountains, and it was very pretty! We spent Saturday driving around the town with Mom and stopped at a really nice park on the Columbia River, and at a couple of yard sales. :) It was a nice trip... maybe next time we'll get to stay longer!

There was a rainbow in a very strange place on our way there... the next day, there was a rainbow all the way around the sun. I have never seen that before!

Hey Amy!

Beautiful pics. I love catching up with you and the rest of your family here!

Stupid trivia I know... The reason there was a rainbow around the sun, (it also happens around the moon on a clear night) is because there is a great deal of moisture in the air. The moisture particals (sp) react the same way mist from a sprinkler does in bright sunlight...

Miss ya lots!

Looks like fun! Your hubby is goofy! I'm sure he keeps you laughing! Maybe we'll meet him someday! When do you leave for Mexico?
