Trip to Washington

This weekend, we took a short trip up to West Richland, Washington to visit Robert's parents, who recently moved there. It's about a 5-hour drive, mostly through Oregon and the Blue Mountains, and it was very pretty! We spent Saturday driving around the town with Mom and stopped at a really nice park on the Columbia River, and at a couple of yard sales. :) It was a nice trip... maybe next time we'll get to stay longer!

There was a rainbow in a very strange place on our way there... the next day, there was a rainbow all the way around the sun. I have never seen that before!

The Park

We watched my niece & nephews last night, and took a walk to the park in our neighborhood. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was a beautiful day! The boys played catch, and Elyssa just wanted to "hwing" or "hwide" (swing or slide). :) Again, I only had my camera phone... sorry! I really need to be better about taking my camera places with me!

Steelheads

I went with my sister and some friends to a Steelheads hockey game earlier this week. It was really fun, and it was a great game! They won, which meant they also won the Conference championship! They were playing Alaska, who was expected to win, but they ended the series 4 to 1. Sorry for the poor picture quality... all I had was the camera on my phone. :)

Kids

Here are a few random pictures of our life lately... ok, of my nephews & niece! They are all so much fun, and so adorable! :) By the way, I have another little niece or nephew on the way... Ashlie is due again in January. We are very excited for her! And for little Tayden's little brother or sister to arrive. :) The blonde is Brooklyn, my cousin's little girl.

Chelsea

I took some senior pictures for my cousin Chelsea. She graduates later this month... makes me feel old! Isn't she cute?! :) Congrats Chels!

PBR!... Girl's Night Out

For all you "city folk", PBR stands for Professional Bull Riding. When they were here a few weeks ago, a group of us decided it would be fun to go. So we went to dinner, then PBR, and then out for dessert. I don't have a lot of pictures, but here are a couple. :)

Computers! Ugh!

My plan was to post a whole bunch of stuff today, but blogger is being a pain and won't let me load pictures. Soon, hopefully...

Marriage Retreat

A couple weekends ago, we had the opportunity to attend a marriage retreat with our church. It was at a hotel in Boise, so close to home, but far enough that it felt like "getting away"! It was an awesome weekend!! Friday night, we went to dinner with 2 other couples, then played a version of "The Amazing Race", which had us running all over downtown looking for specific landmarks. Saturday night, we had dinner & salsa dancing lessons! I did better than I thought I would, since I don't dance, but there was still a lot of laughing. :) The speakers we had were amazing, and we learned a lot!
