Spring?!

The weather here can't seem to make up its mind... one day it's sunny and warm, the next day the weatherman is talking about snow. Yuck! I am so ready for spring! I want to be able to start running outside too, and I hate to run in the cold, so I will stick to the treadmill until it warms up! Bailey appreciates the warmer days... :) He loves to run with the guys, and he enjoys the car ride to the track too!

V~A~C~A~T~I~O~N

I have started planning our vacation for this summer, and I am SO excited!! Last year, we went on a mission trip to Mexico in June and Chile in October, so we didn't take a "vacation" although those trips were awesome, and I wouldn't have traded them for anything else! This year, I am hoping we get to go back to Chile.

This summer, however, we are planning a really exciting vacation (well, exciting for me anyway!) July 25-26 we are going to be running in the Ragnar Relay Northwest Passage race with a bunch of friends. It is a 12-person, 189-mile relay from the Canadian border down the coast of Washington. I have never been a runner, but we started training for this, and I am pretty excited about it. Our team isn't super competitive, so we are all in it for fun, and to be able to say that we did it! Robert and I will both be running, and hopefully some of our family members are going to join us, along with some friends! We still need a few more team members, so if you are interested, be sure to let me know! It will be a challenge, but lots of fun! Here's a map of the course:

We plan to stay in a hotel the night before and the night following the race, then we'll be camping at Olympic National Park for a week after. Our campsite is right on the beach - I love camping!! I have never been to the Washington coast, and Olympic looks beautiful... it will be a great spot for pictures!

Here are a few images I found of Olympic National Park on the internet... you can see why I am so excited to visit! It's still a few months away, but I know it will go quickly. (At least I hope so!) Between training for the race and the trips I will be taking for work (to Sun Valley in May and Las Vegas in June) I will have lots to keep me busy until then!

Date Night

We decided to cancel our internet service at home, so I have not been able to post as much lately. I have access other places, but then having my pictures in the same place, and having time, is sometimes tricky. I will try to keep up with it as best as I can! Our computer is having some issues at home as well, and I have several pictures on there I would like to post when I can get to them! I took some pictures for a girl from our church for her wedding last weekend, so when I can get those edited, I will post those as well.

Last weekend, after the wedding, a group of us (5 couples) went to a Steelheads (hockey) game. We got the tickets free (can't beat that!) and went to dinner at Pita Pit before the game. It was the best hockey game I have ever been too... lots of fights!! :) And lots of scoring! Here are a few pictures from the night...
