Some Recent Pics

Well, I am finally posting something! Sorry it has been so long... just been keeping busy. I only have 2 1/2 more days at my job, then I start working at the church office. I am very excited, and a little sad. I will miss my coworkers here, but since most (all?) of them are leaving also, I guess that makes it easier. I am looking forward to commuting on my bike instead of in rush hour traffic on the interstate!! And I am really excited about organizing and cleaning (I know, I'm a freak!) at my new office. Since most of the rest of the staff is my family, I'm pretty sure I will like them. :)
Robert takes his last licensing test on Friday, then he will be official at Waddell & Reed. We are very excited to start that new adventure!
Audrey turned 15 yesterday. The pictures below are from her family birthday party at Eagle Island State Park on Saturday. I didn't take any, but Arin snapped some of the kids with Garrett, and of me & Elyssa. But none of Audrey. The last picture is of me with my coworkers. We went to lunch on Monday, which was bittersweet. Anyway, that's all the "exciting" news from here. Hopefully it won't be so long until my next post. And I will try to take more pictures!

Another Camping Trip

We will be camping again this weekend. This time it is our annual church camping trip... should be lots of fun! We'll go again the weekend of the 25th for Audrey's birthday. And maybe Labor Day weekend. Gotta get our money's worth out of our camping gear! :) Robert has one more test to pass, then we'll have a bbq to celebrate. I will start full-time at the church office at the beginning of September. Lots of changes, so keep us in your prayers. Not much going on this week, as least until the camping trip Friday. We have been catching up on stuff around the house and trying to relax a little. Here are some random pics...

Yellowstone Wildlife

V*A*C*A*T*I*O*N

Here are some of the pictures from our trip to Yellowstone. We had a GREAT time... very fun and relaxing. I love camping! We got to see lots of wildlife, but no bears or wolves, even though we heard the wolves at night. :( We had yummy camp food and saw lots of pretty scenery too. Our new tent is HUGE, and we had plenty of room for the two of us. We drove down to Jackson Hole, WY one night to see Robert's friend Dale, who works there. The last day of our trip, we hiked up Mt. Washburn (6 miles round trip, 10,243 feet in altitude at the summit). The views from there were amazing, and even though I struggled to the top it was worth it. :) We could see over 75 miles all around! All in all, a wonderful trip... a great 1st real vacation together!
